Chris Corona is a photographer, filmmaker, and dog dad based in Austin TX.
Born in the land of San Diego, Chris developed his love for visuals and storytelling by capturing his friends and their version of the Southern California lifestyle with his mom's Canon AE-1 and whatever camcorder he could get his hands on. Once he graduated from the University of Texas with a piece of paper declaring he was a filmmaker, Chris found himself in a dream position working for director Robert Rodriguez and learning from movie graphics and photography all-star Kurt Volk on four movie productions over a three year period. He then began assisting and producing for top food and lifestyle photographer Jody Horton, who encouraged Chris to seriously pursue photography and filmmaking as his sole profession.
Because of his love of riding motorbikes and the racing series MotoGP, Chris' dream assignment would be documenting rider Valentino Rossi in his final season before retirement.
In his free time you'll find Chris in the garage tinkering on his 1971 Triumph TR6 that never seems to run right, out adventuring on his motorbike, or enjoying quality time with family and his Yorkshire Terrier, Bates.
